Nothing. Emptiness. We start there on purpose: an empty space that artists and audience fill together. When you start with nothing, anything is possible.
A Houston theatre troupe giving voice to the South Asian American experience through the performing arts. A volunteer-run company since 2002, we stage the Indian canon (Karnad, Dattani), diaspora voices (Gupta, Shekar, Akhtar), and the wider world seen through a South Asian lens, on Houston’s mainstream stages, as a deliberate bridge between communities.
We are artists, students, doctors, engineers, and teachers who meet after hours in rehearsal rooms. That is the company: people gathered around an empty stage.
